Goodhart’s law is not applicable to scientific management because metrics have different purpose.
- friday99 8y agoGoodhart's law is entirely applicable to management (adding scientific in front doesn't actually mean anything). That is one of the prime areas of applicability. People change their behavior to increase a metric at the cost of decreasing other more important things.
