30 billion a year for an economy the size of the EU is a rounding error.
- Someone 8y agoIt isn’t for the EU. The EU budget for 2018 is €160 billion (https://www.consilium.europa.eu/en/policies/eu-annual-budget/2018/ https://www.consilium.europa.eu/en/policies/eu-annual-budget...) For comparison, the USA has a federal budget of about $4 trillion. The problem is that “the EU” doesn’t have an economy, and still is mostly built from individual economies.
