Wouldn't an easy way to eliminate bias be to remove any algorithms that use name recognition and gender? If the Ai doesn't have this data to "reason" from wouldn't it level the playing field?
- falcolas 8y agoIf, and only if, those are the only differences between candidate resumes. I don't think that's a reasonable assumption to make. Work history differences, sentence structure, word choices - all of these can quietly reflect gender differences.
