Gosh, people must be bad at interviewing...turning up in business attire (no matter the company culture), turning your mobile off and arriving (reasonably) early are fundamentals. I've never had a problem once getting to the interview stage and have been quite proud that I tend to be seen as valuable, but if thats the competition, I'm less impressed with myself...
