I dunno about "market opportunity", but I think very strongly about what Cal Newport said... that we have to train ourselves to be comfortable with boredom. The device is very attractive at boring moments, like standing in line at a grocery store, or waiting for someone. Which causes a habit, when then interrupts you when you're actually doing something useful.
