And Java has Quasar. Hasn't everyone on the JVM had various coroutine/green-thread options for a long time now?
- weberc2 8y agoI'm curious if there are any advantages to having all of your libraries use the same concurrency mechanism. I've been dealing with a lot of "sync vs async" (aka "What color is your function?") hell lately; I wonder if it would be similar dealing with some libraries that use native threads while others use one coroutine library and other libraries use other coroutine libraries?
