We can try to make more efficient computers by using cryptocurrency mining algorithms that help incentivize the development of these energy efficient reversible computers instead of algorithms like SHA-256 which happen to be quite buggy (Some bugs include ASIC-boost and approximate mining) when we use it as a mining problem instead of just a regular hash function (I have developed one of these reversibility friendly mining algorithms myself).
