I can share how it happened. I logged into HN today to read more about the Apple/Amazon/China news, then almost spat out my coffee when I saw Matt was #1 on Hacker News. I went to high school & university with Matt, so it felt really surreal, and I immediately tweeted Matt to tell him:

- standupmaths 8y agoI can confirm all of this is true. I mean, I don’t know how close SyneRyder was to spitting out coffee (or even if they were drinking coffee? how deep does this go?) but everything else is a fact.
