The best way to get better is to play with other musicians who are better than you This can be stressful and it might not last long since they may get tired of playing with someone below their level. However being humble and honest about your abilities (with them) goes a long way. For me, the feeling is a lot like coming home from a great first date: you can’t stop thinking about it and your willing to sacrifice other parts of your life to schedule it again as soon as possible.
