Why can't you use halal beef gelatin?

- DiabloD3 8y agoNot only that, it'd be easy to get: Great Lakes in the orange (not green) can would seemingly be perfect for this.
- kweks 8y agoYou most definitely could! However, the traditional recipe doesn't use gelatin, so presumably there'd be some difference in texture as well.
