They spent a billion dollars, over 5 years, with a staff of 1,000 strong to replace old software.
I would be surprised if even 20 of the 1,000 were touching COBOL.
- AtlasBarfed 8y agoI'm guessing it was an Accenture project based on the outtakes. That's what Accenture does: armies of cheap people for huge contracts. Flip a coin on the outcome. Not that IBM or any of the other top-level consultancies/services behemoths are any good, but Andersen Consulting/Accenture basically invented that approach.
