I thought GM bought Cruise. Is that not the case?

  GM did buy Cruise. Then GM sold stakes to SoftBank and now Honda. Cruise is structured as an independent entity with, as of now, three owners. GM remains the majority owner.

    IMMO, this is a good strategy from GM. The more big autos to adopt / invest in Cruise, the better.

      Especially since it’s on track to being a commodity technology.
