I've been running the same non-BigOEM Win7 laptop at home for nearly 7 years now. Don't think I've seen a single BSOD in all that time. Windows/PC definitely has its annoyances, but I think this one is Of The Past now. The 2007-vintage MBP that preceded it suffered DVD drive failure, incurable sleep mode apnea, and at one point a meltdown that needed a complete motherboard replacement. Maybe I was just unlucky, but I was not at all inclined to try another one.
