That is not only an issue in academics, but in society as a whole. There is no culture of moderate discussion and respect anymore. Arguments are only valid if they fit the ideology. That is highly concerning.
- aortega 8y agoThis has happened before. Consider this: Current diversity politics is diversity of skin color or gender, but not of though. You are only allowed to think in a certain way if you want to belong to the group. This is not really diversity, it's superficial diversity.
