From what I've seen, probably to the same extent as most tech people in SV/Bay Area. The more I think about nerds/geeks/dorks and their cultural ethos, as it developed in decades past under the thumb of a pre-internet dominant "normie" culture, the less I'm surprised about excesses and abuses of power.
