  +1, this is a good one. It was the textbook for one of my grad school classes and I frequently referenced it during my postdoc. I usually suggest getting older editions of textbooks to save money, but this is one textbook where I bet you want the latest edition, because the field has been changing fast enough that there's probably some incorrect/missing information in a copy that was published even five or ten years ago. [ Edit to note: actually it looks like the latest edition was published in 2010, so it's probably quite out of date by now. :( ]
