Radiologist and anesthesiologists are the vultures of the healthcare industry - they are often out of network and they hide behind the scenes at hospitals and outpatient surgery centers.
- plink 8y agoThe anesthesiologist for a family member's out patient tonsillectomy was the sole out of network component in the procedure. When they remonstrated that we should have known, I responded that maybe we should have checked if the orderly, the valet, et cetera was in-network.
- Gibbon1 8y agoI remember one doctor carping that the highest paid doctor at UCSF is a radiologist who works 9-5 and never deals with any patients face to face. Tip: Never use a hospitals radiology services if you can help it.
