Recently there was some discussion about how restriction like these are void in the EU, see https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=18064772 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=18064772 I always wondered how or if it is possible to place arbitrary restriction on software use. Also I wonder if a clause like this would be binding for tech journalists who run a benchmark because essentially they don't really agree to the license when they are testing software.
