- puranjay 8y agoPeople frequently take loans and sell assets to afford weddings. It's not unusual for parents to save for weddings right after their child is born. One friend's parents sold off their car to fund their daughter's wedding It's honestly all absurd
- matz1 8y agoSeems expensive but, don't forget, at least in chinese weddings you can recoup most of the expense back, from collecting the 'red envelope'. For some couple it even exceed the expense.
