Intel's Next Move
- SlipperySlope 8y agoWould not intel attempt to catch up to AMD Zen with a multi module approach? If so, we could see 128, 256, 1024 thread systems for the high performance desktop market. That in turn puts a big emphasis now for application designers to think about how to reserve and use lots of cores to lower app latency by having hot caches waiting around with a worker thread to be unblocked.
