Its common to see this hot money concept in a lot of farming. I cant tell you how many farmers I know who have no money in drought seasons, but they bought a Mercedes in the good years.

- dbuder 8y agoMy whole country is currently subsidising farmers because of a drought, this has been going on all my life, they never save their excess earnings for the hard times and the ones who do get bailed out anyway.
