  Rather, men who judge women predominantly based on physical appearance (as in this meme) are acting nihilistically and distorting the social incentives experienced by women. It's the use of social rewards and punishments to train women into caring about nothing except their looks, which crowds out other values. The underrepresentation of women in tech (and overrepresentation in, say, fashion and cosmetics) is directly related to this.

    Are you trying to say that women using hundred shades of lipstick, being far more fashion conscious, wearing mini skirts and things like that are results of men 'forcing' them to do so? Are you implying that men deliberately and consciously treat women predominantly as sex objects? May be there is some evolutionary psychology stuff is at play?
