I left Germany in 2012, moved to New Zealand, and got new jobs in Taiwan, Singapore, Australia, Hong Kong afterward. However, I do regret not having spent more time with my parents and my sister. I haven't been back for the first 3 years or so, but I've changed my attitude quite a bit, and try to visit them at least twice a year now. I've also paid my sister's vacation in Hong Kong, so she could come for a visit(she's still a student).
