US is not perfect too (but nowhere near China). For example, it is incredibly difficult to become an independent president candidate: you need to get ballot access in all states, and every state has its own rules.
- brianmurphy 8y agoYou can't be serious. The challenge of filing presidential candidate paperwork in the US versus the challenges of having a contrarian political opinion in China are nowhere near each other in level of hardship.
