I have two brothers that are in the Highway Patrol. Both are listed in the database. I'm pretty surprised to see the size of the increase in base pay from year to year. In their two listings, the Other category was negligible. I'm not sure what the Other category is, but it could be a calculation of the extra benefits they get that isn't paid directly to them. For example, it may be accrued time off that they save up for years (rollover) and then cash out. Maybe I'll ask my brothers if they have any idea.
