No, they’d freak out. They would completely panic, get lost, and then get eaten by a cat or die of cold. I also feed wild birds. Everyone should. After having to bury a whole clutch of sparrow fledglings a few months ago after a cat got the nest I’m pretty sure my budgies - spending the entire day happily grooming each other, playing with toys, and enjoying unlimited free food - have a better time than them, though.
