The infuriating thing about React is that, by itself, it has a very high power to complexity ratio. By far the best out of any of the big front-end tools. But for some reason the community absolutely insists on piling 10 tonnes of crap on top of it until it covers every use case under the sun and no single app is using more than 5% of the rubbish they pull in from NPM.
