"I do not think all this language fragmentation is a good thing." I both agree and disagree with this. I love the creativity and imagination that goes into a language like nim. But at one time I thought the same about python! Sometime obscure little languages become important. On the other hand, the tooling statement is dead on. At the point I find out it doesn't have a step-through debugger I'm just reading the docs for fun and then moving on.
