Freezing my credit still allows it to improve based on my existing lines of credit, correct?
- caleblloyd 8y agoI have mine frozen and my credit scores on Credit Karma are still visible and change monthly. Credit Karma lists Equifax and TransUnion scores.
- jumbopapa 8y agoPerfect. I suppose that I will go ahead and freeze mine as I don't foresee any need to apply for credit in the near future.
- astura 8y agoThe credit file exists as normal, it's just inaccessible by lenders (and insurance companies, cell phone companies, internet companies, etc.) for the duration of the freeze.
