Amazing, exactly my issue as well.
I'm convinced their promo videos are shot by teams carrying tons of batteries. If you are actually adventuring / backpacking for a few days etc, a go-pro is no go unless you want to be worrying about battery life the entire time.
- Siecje 8y agoA battery lasts about 3 hours of filming for me using GoPro Hero 5 Black 1080 30fps linear. This usually lasts all day of regular use. I now have 3 batteries and never have to worry about battery life.
- leeoniya 8y agofilming in winter + ProTune mode + 1080p60, however, is a frustrating experience. 30min is typical. if battery is brand new then maybe you can squeeze 45min out of it.
