I think my life as a programmer would be on the whole much easier if people didn't feel the urge to complexify simple things like a struct with an optional field.
- gnulinux 8y agoI 100% agree. I don't understand how is returning 'Maybe X' is more complex that returning 'X'. In a safe programming language, a well designed 'Maybe' class should be both comfortable and safe enough to use by the callee. This post solves a non-existent problem.
