French Alstom rolled out a hydrogen-powerded train in Germany.
- kuschku 8y agoConsidering how closely interconnected the EU tech industry is — half the train will be German parts anyway — I don't think it makes sense to try to attribute it to a specific EU country.
- JAlexoid 8y agoCounterpositioning Germany and France never lead to anything good, on a global scale.
- teget 8y agoThe Coradia LINT platform this train is based on is built in Germany. Alstom has two locations within Lower Saxony (which is the state funding a lot of this).
- adrianN 8y agoFrench Alstom and German Siemens recently announced that they'll merge their rail units.
