I mean China makes it work and it spans 5 time zones. It's not "Friday to Saturday" in the middle of lunch but it's not far from it.
- plopilop 8y agoWell technically something like 99% of the population lives in zones that map to "theoretical" UTC+7/8, and it's not as if local populations had their word to say anyway--switching Tibet to China's time after its invasion was definitely more political rather than practical
