Mobile site was fine but messages, maybe the most important part, have been disabled and instead you're pushed you to download their app. I've been using FaceSlim [1] since messages stopped being available. It is actually a wrapper to the normal website but resembling the mobile site. Thus it is light, has messages and clean interface.
