Being born in NYC doesn't mean the city belongs to you. I'm a New Yorker too.
- emodendroket 8y agoIn the sense that New Paltz is in New York State, sure, you are a New Yorker if you live in New Paltz. But you're not a resident of New York City, not because of where you were born but because you do not reside there.
