right, my reaction is to wonder whether most of the guys hanging out here don't seem to know many geeky women or seek them out, and are so used to environments where there are almost no women that they don't even notice it. it's true that most programmers are male but the ratio in general isn't as extreme as it is on HN. the FB group seems like it's 95%+ male.
