I have noticed this too. Previously, I could pretty much tell (and mostly agree with) which comments would get downvoted. Nowadays it's more or less become a crap shoot, which is a damned shame. Is there some way to take downvote privileges away from indiscriminate downvoters? I wouldn't even mind relinquishing my downvote rights as a (hopefully) false positive of that filtering process.
