A little less than a year ago, I got approached with an amazing job offer. Great salary, options in a fast growing company, very flexible team, location and hours. I wasn't passionate about the company or their mission, but I figured it would come, as it has in other jobs. However, fast forward to today, I'm still not passionate and keep thinking I'm wasting my time. Once my options vest, I'm out. I DO think passion is important. You can have multiple passions and you can get new ones, but it has to be there. At least speaking for myself, it makes a huge difference on how good I feel about my life.
