I could have, for sure, but I am broad of shoulder and 90% of the reason why I get a window seat is to not get whacked by the carts going up and down the aisle 7,308 times per flight (not to mention the other passengers). So I stayed put and just angled to my right a bit. It worked out in the end. Hopefully I have another empty seat next to me on my return flight. That would be amazing.
