I'm quite excited about the different groups trying to reduce manufacturing costs of antimatter and use it for space propulsion. Positron Dynamics is putting up a cube sat in the near future to demonstrate feasibility. Generating antimatter is easier in space and using it instantly gets rid of storage hassles. The amount needed for a trip to Mars would be around 10mg, the journey time would be measured in weeks.
