I sometimes wonder why don't SV companies hire more in Canada and/or Europe just by offering slightly higher than average salaries. Their runway will be a bit longer. They will easily higher more people especially if they let people know they offer higher than average salaries, it will attract the best engineers in the area, and I don't see how the product will be any worse.
