Is it though? Is there any reason to believe that a significant amount of people buy Apple products because they believe it to be more private? My impression is that the vast majority of users don't care about privacy - no matter how much privacy apple adds to their product, it's becomes moot the moment you are active from facebook, or use google products - which practically everyone does.
