I don't disagree with this. However I also think being overly sensitive, and taking yourself too seriously, is poisonous. Like bringing up politics or religion, there is a gray area. Nobody wants to hear a talk about ruby laden with penis jokes (actually I'm not so sure about that,) however a few jokes or sexual references can lighten things up and "keep it real." I'd put jokes and sexual references in similar categories - distracting, but also helpful.
