Cell phones in many ways remind me of alcohol being introduced to North America for the first time. Europeans had thousands of years to develop physical, cultural, and religious resistance to alcohol addicion — but not the native populations. Now we’re the first ones to deal with this problem. We should all establish — first starting with ourselves then in our families — what is acceptable, when, and why. Starting with yourself will always be the hardest part.
