I am not exactly happy about this, but this isn't behavior that makes them stand out from the pack. Google constantly nags me about visiting their sites in Edge, and I understand that the situation is much worse on iOS. But if Microsoft wants to convince people to use Edge, they should start by dumping a bunch of resources into sanding down the rough spots and applying some spit and polish. It's like 90% of a satisfactory browser at this point, maybe even 95%, but the remaining bits can be really, really frustrating.
