That labor is not worth more on the open market. Nannies aren't rich. Not even close. My wife stayed at home and for time watched children. Without question I was the better deal.
- rayiner 8y agoA full time live at home nanny costs $60-70k in a major metro area, substantially more than what a typical man makes. And nannies typically do not do cleaning, so add another $10k for maid service.
