That is excellent to hear. We experienced several different types of people within utilities, with everything from "we've always done it this way" to "you are the experts, tell us what to do". The younger employees were always excited for us to work with them to make their work easier. Many advocates within the companies had excellent suggestions which were unfortunately sidelined by their managers.
