It never did for me. I have a Blue Yeti set to cardioid, and the levels needed to fully ignore my mx blues also sometimes ignored my voice.

- brownbat 8y agoMumble offers signal to noise detection that can be more effective than amplitude detection in many but not all situations. I'm surprised it hasn't caught on more widely. Edited for tone.
- gravypod 8y agoDo you have a pop filter or a foam head? That will help.
- comex 8y agoHow close is the Blue Yeti to your face (and to the keyboard)? You might be able to do better with a headset.
