- dman 8y agoI think unsafe was poorly named since the name discourages its use.
- orf 8y agoI think the point was to discourage it.
- oconnor663 8y agoI think the name has done an excellent job of discouraging its use. Everyone in the community seems to agree that "contains unsafe code" is a big deal for a crate, and that taking that on when it isn't obviously necessary is sloppy.
