In principle you're right but that "at some point" is expected to be in the scale of millions of years. At least it would be very unlikely.
This chiral world would give protection for all organisms to all the current pathogenic microbes. Many would have to evolve from scratch.
- otakucode 8y agoAny distinction between 'pathogenic' and 'normal' microbes is necessarily filled with holes, and easily crossed.
